About KSTA 

Kerala School Teachers Association (KSTA) the largest and strongest movement has an important place in the history of Kerala. The movement raised slogans against imperialism and Feudalism during its period. KSTA fought severally to improve social status of teachers and against the unsympathetic attitudes of Private School Managements. The glorious campaigns and struggles conducted by KSTA to save and strengthen public education system in Kerala has a remarkable place in the trade union movement of Kerala.

When one makes a Revolution, one cannot mark time; one must always go forward - or go back. He who now talks about the "freedom of the press" goes backward, and halts our headlong course towards Socialism.
